Button Types

Script

Run a script file or open it as a floating panel.

Expression

Apply an expression to selected properties.

Preset

Apply an animation preset to selected layers.

Ease

Apply an easing curve to your selected keyframes.

Menu command

Run After Effects menu commands.

Getting Started

Installation

  1. Download Code Runner from your product library
  2. Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file
  3. Install the ZXP using a tool like AE Scripts' ZXP Installer.
  4. Open/Restart After Effects
  5. Find Code Runner in Window > Extensions > Code Runner 2

Coming from Code Runner 1?

Your buttons come with you. On its first launch, Code Runner 2 finds your v1 collection and imports it as a collection named My Buttons. Nothing in version 1 is changed or deleted.
